I got my M.A. in psychology from the Faculty of Arts of the Comenius University in Bratislava and in gender studies from Central Uropean University in Budapest and PhD. from the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of the Comenius University in Bratislava. I worked in several civic society organizations forusing on human and women’s rights and as a researcher in the Institute for Labour and Family Research. My research interest includes topics related to gender equality, gender-based violence, family and family policies. I teach a course on gender equality policies at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of the Comenius University. I participated on the representative survey on sexual violence against women (IVPR, Bratislava, 2017), carried out the research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on intimate partner violence survivors (IVPR, Bratislava, 2021) and co-authored a chapter on mother-child relationship in the context of IPV in the book Responding to domestic violence. Emerging challenges for policies, practices and research in Europe (Jessica Kingsley Publishers, 2018).
