Recommendations for Roma activists and their non-Roma allies
In project ENGAGE: Using contact interventions to promote engagement and mobilisation for social change project, we prepared a toolkit that offers practical guidelines for all Roma and non-Roma people who want to join together and engage in actions for equal rights. Based on social psychology theory and research, it offers and overview of who can become a Roma activist or a non-Roma ally; why do people become activists or allies; when is the best time to act and where are the places for activism and allyship, and what the Roma activists and non-Roma allies do and how.
