Our colleague Gabriel Bianchi has just had a monograph published by Palgrave Macmillan. The book draws on empirical research on values, intimacy and sexuality in psychology and emphasises the importance of seeking human subjectivity in its diversity, plurality and self-generativity. It presents a critical reflection on the author’s decade-long research within psychology in order to make a case for a significant paradigm shift in the conception and conduct of psychological research: a move towards a ‘second-order psychology’.
