Participatory and co-creative methodologies with older adults

You are cordially invited to the Institute’s seminar entitled “Participatory and co-creative methodologies with older adults”, presented by Dr. Anna Wanka from Goethe University in Frankfurt and Prof. Anna Urbaniak from Jagiellonian University in Krakow. The seminar will explore how participatory and co-creative methodologies foster mutual learning, challenge traditional power dynamics in research, and ensure that older adults’ lived experiences shape the questions, methods, and outcomes of research itself. Drawing on examples from across the PAAR-Net network, the speakers will highlight emerging innovations, ethical considerations, and the broader societal impact of involving older adults as equal partners in research rather than subjects of study. The seminar will be in English.

Please feel free to pass this information to your colleagues. The seminar will take place on 24.11.2025 at 14:00 in a hybrid format (UVSK + online).
